Get ready for the ride of your life! Doomsday is an interesting mix of nostalgia, futurism, and the contemporary. An unknown virus threatens to wipe out the entire humanity and the government had no choice but to cordon off the area and leave the victims to die while the rest who appears to have developed an immunity are jetted away to safety.

Little did the government know that the victims who are left to rot have developed some form of immunity and began to live their own lives of hard rock and cannibalism. Another camp decided to go back to the roots and began a life of fairytales and knighthood where they lived in castles.

The main lead, whose mum sacrificed for her safety is a bitter and sad lady, who has the ability to take out her eyeball to use as a spy camera is simply fantastic! Imagine being able to do it in the future! How cool is that! With her own agenda, she accepted the request to go back to the forbidden zone and find the cure for the virus that is threatening to spread in the previously safe zone. And off she goes leading a team of specialists, bringing us on the ride of our lives.

I tell you, this movie is unlike anything you have seen. It is a smorgasbord of the new and the old. Doomsday comes equipped with a super fast Bentley, horses, trains, S&M outfits and cannibalism. Which movie encompasses all of the above!
