Silly, stupid and a waste of time.
Based on the original Spiderman plot, the protagonist actually becomes a Dragonfly instead of a Spiderman. The basic plot remains in that the Dragonfly’s uncle and aunt adopts him, the uncle is killed, setting the Dragonfly out for revenge.
With cameos by Tom Cruise, Pamela Anderson and the like, the laughs should have been aplenty. But I found it difficult to laugh along. I actually felt myself nodding away to sleep at a Comedy! For someone who has grown to enjoy watching slapsticks, this movie is truly mind numbing and the laughs were stale and hard to come by. The jokes were rehashed while the supposedly very funny moments were just not that funny. A pure waste of time.
